Today was the first day of me doing Christmas lessons with the kids. One of my favorite things to do with them is comparing two versions of Pachelbel's Canon. First we listen to a version with kids singing then this one. Normally the kids groan when this one starts but when that guitar kicks in they really start to enjoy it!

I should note that I really hate this song normally, this is one of the few versions I like.

Today's video is one that I quite literally grew up hearing. My mother had taped the Sesame Street Christmas Special from '78 off the TV and we always seemed to pull it out and watch it. One of my goals for my chorus group is to perform this with the sign language.

Today's Christmas music video is from one of my favorite vintage movies-"Meet Me In St. Louis." I first saw this movie on a church trip to St. Louis and fell in love with the movie and the music. Here is Judy Garland singing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"

I haven't posted here in forever so I decided to bring it back. I will post a different Christmas music video each day until Christmas. I have over 1000 Christmas songs in my computer so I shouldn't have any trouble finding music!
